( Personality ) :
Selfish, melodramatic,hot-tempered and reckless is only a few words to describe Ryoko. She can come off as having a fairly 'obnoxious' personality upon first impressions at times. Mostly due to her constant drinking and her tedency to bring out the worse in some from relentless teasing (Ayeka for the most part.) The former space pirates morals are can be considered rather loose from flirting relentlessly with Tenchi if not being nude around him at the most inappropriate times (the hotsprings), no regard for privacy or personal space, plus she's not above lieing. The only reason she acts in such a manner is because Ryoko has never interacted with others out in society, especially when she was under Kagato's control. Who did nothing but repress Ryoko's emotions, so she could be nothing more than a tool for him to use in attacking Jurari and innocent people. So, she doesn't know what's considered 'appropriate' while interacting with others. Expressing her real feelings can be a chore. Washu is helping to bring out more of Ryoko's softer side by being rather harsh on her and even commenting on how 'faulty' her body is. Though it seems a little cruel at times, it is the only way for Washu to undo the damage that Kagato did to Ryoko and it helps to mold her to be a better candidate for Tenchi's affection's.

Even though she's not the easiest person to get along with, Ryoko is rather carefree and enjoys having a good time. Between being trapped in a dark cave and her time with Kagato, she wants to use all of her time to just enjoy herself without having anymore restraints. Whether it be lazing about on the roof, drinking or just playing practical jokes on Ayeka. Though she can be fairly gullible at times, Ryoko is very smart. She doesn't show this a lot mostly due to her own laziness and disinterest for anything relating to science. Compared to the other girls in the Masaki household, Ryoko is rather lazy and hardly ever wants to lend a hand in anything concerning chores, housework or cooking, which might be for the best since she's an awful cook due to her lack of taste buds.

Ryoko's feelings for Tenchi is very strong. He's probably the only other person she could say she actually loves. So, she'll jump at the opportunity to be with him and fight for his affection. More so than often butting heads with Ayeka, which turns out to be very destructive for the Masaki household and everyone around them. She doesn't hesitate to jump in front of Tenchi if it meant saving is life. Ryoko likes to act now and think later. Though, with her time spent on Earth and with the other girls at the house Ryoko would do just the same for them even though she acts like she only cares for just Tenchi.

-Inhuman Strength (To a degree. She can pick up very heavy items from boulders to even buses.)

-Summoning malicious spirits with her jewel (Though she can only summon them since she has just one, which is useless if she can't control them. So this is a backfire.)

Personality:
Out of all the girls in the Masaki household, Ryoko is probably one of the most impulsive and most emotional characters there. Ryoko tends to get into competitive fights with Ayeka every other day. More than half the time it involves who's best suited for Tenchi and the fights always end in a stale mate or being interrupted, which tends to leave the Masaki house a complete mess if not parts of it destroyed. Of course, she also likes to tease Ayeka because it amuses her so much that she gets easily riled up. Ryoko isn't exactly the most easiest person to get along with at times, due to her forward ill-mannered nature and hot headed ways. This is mostly from her barely having any kind of genuine social contact for centuries, plus being under the control of Kagato, who tried to expel any kind of emotion from Ryoko. So, she really doesn't know how to behave around people in 'normal' day to day situations. For example, she isn't too modest and doesn't mind being naked around anyone, especially Tenchi for that matter, whether it's in the onsen or the house. She doesn't see this as being inappropriate.

Ryoko can be rather lazy at times. You can see her usually lounging on a beam up high in the house, on the roof top, or in a tree sleeping. She doesn't make herself terribly useful around the house unless she's told or forced too.

Act now and think later is something she does quite often. She certainly doesn't mind running into a battle head strong, especially if it's to rescue Tenchi. Tenchi is one of the few people, if only person, she's ever truly cared about and loved. So, she'd do just about anything for him even if she's very reckless about it. Though, she can be quite selfish at times she can pull through when others need her the most. Ryoko has a very strange one sided relationship with her mother, Washu. Though she doesn't think of her much as a mother and even seem to spite her at times. Since, she's been alone for centuries without Washu around she probably still see's her as abandoning her, since she haven't had a shred of nurturing in any form since she's been born. Not that it could have been helped since Kagato imprisoned Washu and brainwashed Ryoko to raise her to do his bidding. Though, Washu has a habit of critizing Ryoko heavily. This is mostly to help soften her up to be a better pair for Tenchi. When Zero, Dr.Clay's clone of Ryoko, copied Ryoko she absorbed some of her memories. After Zero allowed her emotions to surface, Washu combined Zero and Ryoko (Washu mentioned she wouldn't force Ryoko to assimilate with Zero if she didn't really want to. Though in the end she silently agree to do so.) Now she is more in tune with her feelings and acts more human. So, she has more of a 'softer' side now. Not to mention her knowledge has expanded more.

Ryoko was or more or less a semi-reformed space pirate, since she's been sealed in a cave after her defeat by Yosho. Because of this, Ryoko has a fear of being in any places that are cold and dark, especially when she's all by herself. She can get rather emotional, even before she merged with Zero.

Powers/Abilities:

• Flight
• Relatively low levels of superhuman strength and superhuman speed, but the former can essentially be greatly amplified by merging with giant golems of her own creation.
• Creating false gems to help balance out her powers.(These are only temporary, but this takes 750 years to do.)
• No need to eat (she has no taste buds either) and doesn't breathe
• Teleportation
• Intangibility, but not necessarily to energy-attacks.
• Creating energy swords and energy blasts of varying yields and destructive power (All regularly used)
• Instant regeneration of missing limbs (Episode 1).
• Creating doppelgängers (Episode 7)
• Telekinesis
• Creating forcefields
• Matter formation (manipulating matter and merging with it, as with a stone pillar in Episode 6)
• Complex molecular restructuring (repairing Mihoshi's GXP scanner in Episode 4)
• Hair needles that she can fire from her head (Episode 11)
• Telepathy with Washu and Ryo-Ohki.
• Able to generate up to 10 lighthawk wings when she has all three gems in her possession and when she's reached full maturity.
• In addition Ryoko can access an advanced internal database, as a group-mind shared with Ryo-Ohki (Episode 14) to constantly overview her exact universal coordinates.
• She can also use this to access information and construction specifics for advanced technology, which combined with her ability of molecular reconstruction, allows her to create some of them out of available surrounding matter, such as the flying onsen that Washuu designed prior to imprisonment, and then became available to Ryoko prior to actually being aware of her mother's existence.
• Ryoko likely gained shapeshifting abilities from merging with Zero (Episode 12), especially in combination with her amorphous masu heritage.

Some of these abilities are known to have been inherited from Washu, while others are likely the result of her Masu genes, or intended design.



What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? Nothing of importance, since she can create her own weapons. So, nothing more than the clothes on her back.

Third-Person Sample:
"Washu! Washu where the hell are you!?" After strugging for awhile, Ryoko finally managed to get the gag off of her mouth. It was a real chore, since her wrists were bound. The demon was less than thrilled than being in this situation AGAIN. She had her so called 'mothers' odd ball experiments. Ryoko wanted nothing to do with them, but she didn't have too much choice in the matter since Washu more or less forced her into this position. Teeth grind against one another in frustration of not being able to escape.

'Oh, when I get her hands on her I'm gonna...'

Her fingers balled into her fist and she swore under her breath. Oh, she just thought of EVERYTHING. Even her powers were completely restricted so she didn't blow everything to hell in this lab. She'd rather be using her time right now to be with Tenchi, but no she was here. No doubt Ayeka was taking advantage of this time. The thought made her ears burn and twitch at the thought. The worse thing of all...more than that was that she seemed to be completely alone. It was dark and quiet in the lab; other than some flashing lights from the machines and the sounds they made. It made Ryoko feel weary being here even more. Perhaps, even a little scared. There was a quick shake of her head before she called out again.

"C'mon Washu, this isn't funny! I mean it! Are you there? Washu? Anybody?!" There wasn't an answer. Just the echo of her own voice. Her ears drooped down and her eyes lids fell a bit.


'Where....where is she? Did...did she really leave me?'

Her voice cracked slightly when she spoke again. This time it sounded more like a wimper.


"Washu......washu...w...washu....uuu..."  There feeling of being alone in a cold, dark place again. It made her body shiver and she couldn't help but break down in tears. Though, unbeknownst to her Washu was close by and smiling to herself enjoying the pleasures of motherhood.

First-Person Sample:
[The feed turned on and what could be seen was a irrtable woman trying not to crush the device in my hand. Her face looking a bit dirty as well,]
Is this damn thing even on?!

[There was a low, irrtable growl from the woman.]

I know you're around Washu! So come on where ever you are!

[Her yellow eyes narrowed.]

Hey, I'm not talking to myself you know. You better start explaining why I can't fly all of a sudden or use my powers because this is ridiculous!
[Not that she'd say other wise, but she had fell flat on her face when she tried to fly.

Then walked directly into a wall when she couldn't phase through it. This was just a bad day.]

Fine, whatever be that way. I can find you on my own if you're just going to be in hiding!
[There was a 'hmph' before static started to stray across the scene and eventually turn off.]
